CAMPING Info
There are three (3) separate campgrounds at CMC Rocks QLD (A Campground, B Campground and C Campground).
A Campground and B Campground are the closest to the Festival Site at Willowbank Raceway. C Campground is at Queensland Raceway, and catching the Festival Shuttle Bus service is the quickest and easiest way to travel between the Festival site and the Campgrounds.
Each Campground has a variety of different Camp Sites (powered and non-powered) available to purchase.
You can check out a Campground Map and full details of the different Camp Sites available to purchase here.
Noting, the Festival stages are not able to be viewed from any of the Campgrounds.
As this is an outdoor event, the Festival Site and Campgrounds can be affected by any inclement weather and both the grass area and roads can become very muddy. We recommend you consider this in planning for the Festival. As always, we encourage patrons to notify Festival personnel if they require assistance at any time.
If you require use of accessible amenities in the Campgrounds, please ensure you apply for Accessible and Companion Card tickets, and submit your request to AXS Customer Support HERE.
- Shared amenities (toilets, showers and hand wash units) are in all Campgrounds.
- C Campground has three (3) dump points to empty cassettes.
- A & B Campgrounds have toilets for grey water disposal.
- Do not allow your grey water to be dumped onto the ground - this is unhygienic and irresponsible. Use the dump points or contact our Kings Marshals for further advice.
All CMC Campgrounds are strictly an alcohol-free zone. Vehicles entering the Campgrounds may be searched. Any alcohol found will be confiscated, not returned and the offending patron(s) may be evicted from the Festival Site and Campgrounds for the remainder of the Festival.
Before hitting the road, double-check your camp site size and setup. Just because it fitted last year, doesn’t mean it will fit this year! CMC’s Camp Site’s will be marked and measured to the exact sizes listed here. If your vehicle, tent, camper, or equipment exceeds your camp site size, you may be asked to pack up a portion, so you do fit. Make sure you measure it first!
The below details relate to the size and layout of each Camp Site within the Festival Campgrounds.

If you don't feel like cooking, a small selection of food and coffee outlets are available in all Campgrounds and a large selection inside the Festival!
Ice will be available within all Campgrounds at $8 a bag - bargain. Find the team set up at the following locations marked on the Campground Map.
Drinking water is available at various locations at all Campgrounds. There is no capacity to supply water via tap or hose to any individual Camp Sites.
Gas cookers are allowed. Your equipment may be inspected by Campground Marshals to ensure it is in good working order or to assess any concerns regarding the age, type or use of your equipment.
It is a condition of using any gas cookers at the Camp Site that you comply with the Guidelines for the Safe use of Camping Gas Cookers:
- Please have your cooking equipment serviced before bringing it to the Camp Site.
- Never light a gas cooker inside your tent or in any other enclosed area.
- Always take note of the colour of the flame: it should be burning blue. If it’s burning with an orange or yellow flame or is creating sooty stains on your stove you may have a problem with your stove so PLEASE DO NOT USE IT.
- Do not store spare gas cylinders inside your tent, mobile home, or caravan.
- If you smell gas or think you have a leak, turn the stove off, evacuate the area and get help from a Campground Marshal or Security.
- Never use a naked flame to search for a leak.
- Empty canisters and aerosols may not be completely empty. When you’ve removed it from your stove, store it upright outside your tent for a while to allow any gas that may remain to evaporate.
- Never attempt to refill a gas cannister.

1 x CAMP SITE TICKET
- Your ticket will show your selected Campground and Camp Site type (e.g., Campground A, Medium Powered). Only one (1) Camp Site Ticket is issued per site, allowing entry for the one (1) vehicle to park at the Camp Site (except for Mini Sites and The Inn, where vehicles cannot park on camp sites).
1 x CAMPGROUND ENTRY TICKET
- Each person must have one (1) Campground Entry Ticket to stay in the Campgrounds.
1 x FULL FESTIVAL TICKET
- Each person must have one (1) Full Festival Ticket to stay in the Campgrounds.
You’ll go through a vehicle check, ticket scan and wristband issue all at the main vehicle entry gate for each campground. This is new for CMC Rocks! It might take a little more time, but AXS and CMC Rocks are working together to make your entry as seamless as possible, with just one stop between arriving and heading to your site.
- If you're travelling with multiple vehicles, you'll need to buy an Overflow Parking Ticket from AXS to park for the duration of the Festival.
- Each ticket allows one vehicle to park in the Overflow Carpark for the whole Festival.
- Only Overflow A tickets remain - B & C are sold out.
- You can drop off your belongings at your camp site then head directly to the Overflow Carpark.
- Once Overflow Parking Tickets sell out, you'll need to arrange alternative parking - this may include parking off site and catching a Festival bus or coordinating with friends to arrive in one vehicle.
Camp sites are allocated first-come, first-served. Want to camp with your mates? You all must arrive together with matching site tickets for the same camp site type (e.g., A Campground, Medium Powered). Our Kings Camping Marshals are tasked with getting you in. Follow their directions so your vehicles are in as quickly as possible, and while you arrange your set up, they can move on to getting your neighbours in.
Vehicles brought into the Campground (including the Overflow Car Park) are not permitted to leave the Campground (or the Overflow Car Park) under any circumstances until the Approved Departure Time. All vehicles brought onto the Campground (or the Overflow Car Park) must remain parked at the designated Camp Site or Overflow Car Park spot until the Approved Departure Time. Vehicles are not permitted to be driven around the Campground for any reason (this includes ferrying passengers between entry gates and the designated Camp Site or the Overflow Car Park spot).

Breach of this condition may result in your eviction from the Festival Site and Campground for the remainder of the Festival. If you are evicted for breach of this condition you will not be entitled to any refund for your Festival Ticket or Camp Site Camping Ticket
CMC Campgrounds are all about top-notch setups and good vibes. Let’s keep it that way! A few simple points to keep things running smooth:
- Keep it quiet - tunes and generators off from midnight to 7am so everyone can rest up.
- Leave no trace - take your gear and rubbish with you when you go.
- Respect your mates - no wandering into other camp sites unless you're invited.
- Find the nearest Kings Marshal to help you out or text the Patron Help Line on 0482 082 812.
